Modern Day Mystic Flush & Flame Ritua

This is a ritual I do every year, with my people of significance, also known as my tribe, if we want to get into older terms. Scrolls being rare and hard to find, and most likely costly (now watch, someone will come up with kitchy little scrolls) a modern day mystic uses what is most available to her or him. The most available writing element is, obviously toilet paper. Laugh if you will, but it is highly flameable and perfect for our purposes. So, gather up several sheets of toilet paper and a good ball point pen. 

FLUSH

Write on a stack of sheets all of those things your are ready to flush. Go over the last year and give your life a thorough, clean out and write down either one thing on each sheet or several things on each sheet. You can decide these little things on your own. In keep with our recent full moon eclipse this is a very in tune cleansing. Give it proper due. Think about any thing, energies or person who maybe be 'sticking' to you and not helping you shine in your full magnificence. How do you know? Energy depleting 'fold thems' will leave you feeling drained and aren't interested in the success of others. This applies to things as well. Clutter depletes energy too. When you are ready with your FLUSH list. FOLD them. 

Walk purposely to your bathroom toilet and with deep gratitude say...

I release you

I release myself

I release you

I release my emotional attachment to you

I release you

I release my energetic attachment to you

I release you

I release my spiritual attachment to you

I release you

I release my physical attachment to you

I release myself

OM...So mote it be. 

As above, so below, as it was, so it shall be. Forever.

FLAME

On another stack of toilet paper, of if you wish, there is actual 'wish paper' available for purpose, out there, we write our wishes. Yes, someone jumped on that one already. This is not about resolutions. Resolutions are about being resolute, which, in my opinion is no fun and not at all a way to manifest anything at all. This is where we dream, write your deepest desire. This is where you become the architect, the author of your life to come. Put it out there. Create what you want to manifest. The flames will carry your deepest desires to the Universe. Energy follows thought. Fire is HOT energy. Again, think about the things, the energies, the people, that make you shine. What do you want to surround yourself with that will make you the most brilliant you that you can be for this year. Remember that it's not about 'things' in the sense of what you can buy... things can be more time, more walks in the park, more time with your children, more music...more connecting with spirit. My advice is keep it simple. Your deepest desires should be three sentences or less. 

In a bowl and matches, I use a ceramic bowl I use specifically for my magical purposes, with fire safety rules in place (a glass of water) take your sheets of toilet paper with your wishes and get ready to FLAME them. Unless you have a whole role of toilet paper to flame, this can be done indoors. Otherwise, do it outside or in a fireplace. 

Magic and manifestation does not come

from an external source

but from deep within. 

I plant the seeds

of my wishes and dreams

in my imagination and my deeds

as a commitment to myself

and a source of love to the world.

In gratitude that all this

or something better

now manifests for me 

in a totally satisfying and harmonious way

for all concerned.
